Thank you very much, you are amazing! Excellent hotel, it has great service, perfect location close enough to the Gaslamp to walk to the eateries. The staff are incredibly nice and really care about the guests. The room is neat, good sized comes with a mini-fridge and a hell of a pissy staunch, for example.

I had a really nice stay and would definitely come back there, thanks very much. The hotel was simple with very courteous stuff and an easy location in a really sketchy area. The service was great, no complaints whatsoever. Could use their free parking.

Everything was perfectly fine, superfriendly stuff, particularly good location right by the train tracks. The rooms where brand-new, neat and with an old pull-out couch. We had a really nice stay at this budget hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is close enough to the Gaslamp to walk to the eateries. Additionally, it is conveniently located in downtown San Diego, providing easy access to various attractions and amenities in the area.
The hotel's close proximity to a freeway exit can make it dangerous to exit and enter the property.

The location was convenient to the area of San Diego I like to visit the most. Close to Balboa Park and Gas Lamp as well as Hillcrest.
This place was a complete dump. Apparently it was being "remodeled", but they had no regard to the comfort of their guests. They were literally hazards everywhere where people could have hurt themselves...loose debris, painting supplies all over the place, doors without door knobs, random parts laying around in the lobby and the list goes on. Our room was one of the "finished" rooms, but the beds were very uncomfortable, the AC knobs were broken and the room was very humid. The bathroom door had no door knob and the sheets appeared to have mold on them. The towels looked grey instead of white and were clearly very old. The guest checking in before us was given a room with someone already booked in it and he walked in on them...came back to the lobby to complain and the front desk agent was apologetic but clearly clueless. I would never stay here again, unless I was completely desperate.

Friendly staff and close to a trolley stop
Some facilities didn't work and were never fixed, bathroom was dirty and small, was going through renavations.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, so close to downtown without being too expensive. We were able to walk to Balboa Park in just 30 minutes and the Gaslamp Quarter in only 15 minutes. The room was surprisingly spacious and exceeded our expectations. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of this fantastic city.
There was nothing we didn't like.
